Our Team

Our staff of professional Trail Bosses, Guides and Volunteers are seasoned and skilled in practical Native American Horsemanship, with a heavy emphasis on relationship riding for both the host horse and the guest rider. We rely on excellence in training for your safety and the best possible   saddles for your enjoyment and comfort.

Our Horses

Affectionately called employees, our horses are the culmination of years of horsemanship education. The herd varies in breed and color because our finished horses are for sale as western pleasure trail stock.

We currently offer:

  • Thoroughbreds
  • Oklahoma APHA (American Paint Horse Association) Paints and Solid Paints
  • Solid and Painted Tennessee Walkers
  • Paso Finos
  • AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) Cutting Horses
  • ARHA American Ranch Horse Association Paint Division Cutting Horses
  • Morgan
  • Appaloosa
  • Mini Quarter Horse

These horses are hand selected for their individual personality, temperament, confirmation, stamina, pedigree, and color. Each one is nurtured with much love, discipline, and relationship in the Native American style of Yield to Surrender; Surrender to Serve. The end result is a very trusting companion horse, bred for your western riding pleasure.

White Feather Foundation Inc is proud to acknowledge the wonderful donations from those patrons who believe in our good medicine.  We have extended in-kind services to autistic individuals and their parents along with the Wounded Warrior Project. As a result of our kindness, others have gifted our foundation some most beautiful and fantastic horsesfor training and teaching.

We are the home base Equine Training Facility for :

White Feather Native American Horsemanship, featuring Nathaniel White Feather, founder and lifelong student of the horse.

Our facility is situated on picturesque acres, in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We presently have 4 fields, 3 riding trail areas, and a equine training "round pen". We currently do not have an indoor riding area, but would love to construct one as soon as we can raise the funds. We are constantly striving to improve our facility.  If this is appealing to yoiu, please contact us to express your interest in joining our team.
